Lara Baladi 

Lara Baladi was born in Lebanon in 1969. She grew up in Paris and London where she graduated from Richmond University with a BA in Business Administration and a special award in photography, in 1990.
She worked in the production of advertising photography until 1993 and has been a free lance photographer since.
Her work covers mainly the Arab world. Her photographs are published in the press (Liberation, Le Monde, US News & World report, Al Ahram, Geo...). Her most recent exhibitions have been at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, House of Cultures in Berlin, Museum of Photography in Charleroi, the Feldam Gallery in New York City.
